Carpet Closeouts was opened in November 2001 by Howard Pressman after working nearly twenty years in the carpet and flooring business elsewhere and, before that, as a home builder and real estate broker. It was opened based on a few core principles: that if a business treats a customer right, they will be a customer for life, and that it is good to have a personal relationship with customers.
We're named Carpet Closeouts because we are able to get carpet from the mills in Georgia and elsewhere that you may not see at other carpet stores. Besides the first-quality goods we sell, we also sell closeouts, dye lots that don't match the mills' samples, and mill overstocks. We can handle all your flooring needs, from wood and bamboo, to shag area rugs, tile, and special order carpeting. We have many of remnants in stock as well.
